6 months natural...

So far so good...

Its been a long and windy road to get to this point. It hard to believe I have as much growth as I do now. I have had relaxed hair since I was 5 years of age, now at 23 I have decided to go natural.  I did the big chop in January 27th of 2010 and now at about 7 months later I have already grown back the amount of hair that i cut off before. My hair is 100% thicker and full of body. My aim is to achieve waist length hair but I must say I am pretty content at shoulder length hair.  Heres how I maintain it so far:
-co wash 3 times a week
-shampoo once a week
-deep condition 2 times a week
-moisturize and seal daily with a light moisturizer and leave in conditioner and seal with extra virgin coconut oil
I use minimal amount of heat Which means no blow drying (air dry only) and only flat iron or use direct heat 1-2 times a year.
Always detangle with a wide toothed comb or denman brush
Wrap hair at night with a satin scarf and cover with a satin bonnet
Use protective styling and trim only when needed
MISCELLANEOUS-  (avoid using harmful metal hair assesories, and manipulating during styling)

NEXT STOP------------- Arm pit length hair!
